CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines — Nineteen of 21 chiefs of police in Calabarzon who were earlier relieved from their post have been reinstated after they passed the second enhanced managing police operation test given by the regional police office.

The 21 police chiefs were administratively relieved in May after failing the first test.

Brig. Gen. Hanzel Marantan, Calabarzon police director, said he is satisfied with the result of the second examination.

The remaining three police chiefs will be allowed to take the test for the third, but if they fail, they will no longer be reinstated and will be replaced by other officers with the ranks of lieutenant colonel or major.

The Calabarzon police personnel and records management division will inform concerned provincial police directors to nullify the relief orders issued against the 19 officers.

Marantan said 11 of the officers are from Quezon, two from Cavite and one from Rizal.

“The passing score is high. The officers need to obtain  45 points out of 50 to pass the test,” Marantan said.
