MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Zamboanga City and another in Tarlac City will split the P284.6 million lotto 6/58 jackpot drawn on Sunday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.
PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said the winners bet on the combination 39-37-04-11-02-09 for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw on Jan. 25, which carried a jackpot of exactly P284,636,402.80.
The winner in Zamboanga bought the ticket from a lotto outlet along Castillo Street in Barangay Baliwasan while the Tarlac City winner purchased a ticket from an outlet along Romulo Highway in Barangay Poblacion Norte.
The PCSO said the winners will each get P142,318,201.40.
Robles said 19 bettors won the second prize of P120,000 for betting on five digits of the winning combination.
The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN law imposes a 20-percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.
Ultra Lotto 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
