MANILA, Philippines — Two people were killed after a man fired indiscriminately at a condominium in Parañaque on Wednesday.
The 59-year-old suspect, identified only as William, entered the basketball court of the condominium building at around 8 p.m. and fired at people who were playing basketball, according to a police report.
A 57-year-old man and another man died at the scene.
Four people were injured. They are in stable condition in hospitals.
Parañaque police chief Col. Nicolas Piñon told The STAR that William had a “personal grudge” with one of the victims.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
Piñon said authorities would not lock down the property, but police have been deployed to provide additional security in the area.
