ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P1 million was seized from two drug suspects in this city on Thursday night.
The Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said the suspects – identified as Belladin Talib, 25, and Williadar Tuttuh, 23 – were collared along Cervantes street in Barangay Zone 4 after they allegedly sold an undetermined amount of shabu to an undercover agent.
Police said the suspects yielded three large plastic sachets containing 150 grams of shabu as well as marked money.
The arresting team seized the suspects’ phones believed used in the illegal drug transaction and a motorcycle.
The suspects were detained at the city police station 11 as charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were being prepared against them.
