MANILA, Philippines — State meteorologists are expecting two tropical cyclones to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) this month.
Citing latest climatological track for the month of May, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the cyclones may reach Eastern Visayas and Luzon, but will later recurve outside PAR.
The cyclones will be named Caloy and Domeng once they enter PAR, PAGASA said.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms will prevail in Mindanao and Palawan due to the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies.
