COLLEGIATE golf in the Philippines reaches new heights as the 2025 Philippine Intercollegiate Golf Series (Phigs), presented by the Philippine Golf Foundation in partnership with Cignal TV, tees off on Feb. 23 at Royal Northwoods Golf and Country Club.
This inaugural event launches a yearlong series to foster competitive collegiate golf.
The Phigs 2025 Team Event begins with a three-day championship on Feb. 23, followed by legs on March 2 and March 9.
Teams will compete in a Stableford format (men's: 4 players/team, 3 to count; women's: 3 players/team, 2 to count), featuring top universities like UP, Ateneo, La Salle, UST, Benilde, Mapúa, DLSU-Dasmariñas, Arellano School of Law, and the University of the Cordilleras.
Defending champions De La Salle, led by co-captains Santino Laurel and Perry Bucay, aim to retain their title.
