Tabuk City, Kalinga — Three men were killed in a shooting incident early Thursday morning in Purok 7, San Julian, Tabuk City.
The police identified the victims as Santos Calsiyao, Tokar Calsiyao and Leo Palat Calsiyao, all residents of Basao, Dilag, Tabuk City.
The police report said the incident occurred at around 6:30 a.m.
Responding officers from the Kalinga Provincial Police Office (KPPO) arrived at the scene by 7 a.m. and found the victims' bodies along the road.
Recovered from the scene were two M16 rifles and a shotgun believed to have belonged to the victims.

Initial investigation indicates that the victims were involved in an armed encounter with still unidentified suspects near the residence of a barangay kagawad (village councilor).
The gunfight reportedly continued as the victims retreated northward, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The crime scene has been turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit of the KPPO for proper processing, while a hot pursuit operation is ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspects.
