4 cops face dismissal for indiscriminate firing during holiday revelry

MANILA, Philippines — Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. initiated summary dismissal proceedings against four police officers allegedly involved in indiscriminate firing cases during the 2025 holiday revelry. The PNP’s latest tally showed 15 cases of indiscriminate firing incidents — four of which involved police officers — across the
