MANILA, Philippines — Four people died in a vehicular crash in Angono, Rizal on Sunday.

Rizal police chief Col. Eleazar Barber Jr. said a 69-year-old woman, a 15-year-old student, a motorcycle driver and his rider, respectively identified only as James and Shiela Mae, died after a wayward car hit them at 1 p.m. along Manila East Road in Barangay San Isidro.

A 13-year-old boy, who was also hit by the car, survived and is recuperating in a hospital.

“We deeply regret the tragedy that caused the loss of lives and injuries to a boy,” Barber said in Filipino in a statement.

In a closed-circuit television footage shown over GMA News, the car was seen crashing into a motorcycle and then toward a bakery.
