BALANGA CITY — The Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) announced the arrest of four drug suspects and the confiscation of 6.9 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P46,920 in a pot session in Barangay Mabatang in Abucay, Bataan, on Monday.
Abucay police chief Maj. Gerald John Bautista reported to BPPO officer-in-charge Col. Marites Salvadora that the suspects were caught in the act of using illegal drugs.
Charges for violation of Sections 11, 13 and 14 of Article II of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, were readied against the four suspects.
Meanwhile, a female drug courier was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Culis, Hermosa, Bataan, on Monday.
The suspect was caught with 25 grams of suspected shabu in her possession, estimated to be worth P170,000.

Salvadora said operatives of the drug enforcement unit of the Hermosa municipal police station coordinated with the BPPO's drug enforcement unit and the First Provincial Mobile Force Company in the conduct of the operation.
The arrested suspect is now under the custody of the Hermosa PNP, while criminal complaints on Sections 5 and 11, Article 2 of RA 9165 will be charged against her.
