TUBA, Benguet, Philippines — A portion of Kennon Road was closed to motorists yesterday morning following a multivehicle collision near Barangay Camp 4 in this town.
The collision occurred at around 6 a.m. involving two trucks, a jeepney, a sport utility vehicle and a van.
Authorities said no injuries were reported among the drivers and passengers of the vehicles.
Members of the Tuba police temporarily closed roads around Camp 6, particularly along areas leading to a tunnel.
Motorists traveling to and from Baguio City were advised to pass through Marcos Highway to avoid getting stuck in traffic.
Police reminded the public, especially motorists, to exercise caution and heed instructions of traffic personnel deployed in the area.
