A total of 67 persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Samar received wheelchairs and crutches from GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to “24 Oras” Friday, among those who received help was a boy named Ken from the town of Basey, who is supported by his 69-year-old grandmother, Lilia Galazan.
Ken was injured in a motorcycle accident and was required to undergo surgery.
The wheelchair and crutch distribution covered the towns of Basey, Calbiga, and San Sebastian in Samar.
The beneficiaries also received hygiene kits and food.
