At 38 stories above Metro Manila, the newly opened Finestra Italian Steakhouse at Solaire Resort North brings a fresh take on the Sunday brunch experience. Unlike its sister restaurant in Pasay City, this Finestra offers sweeping views of the skyline, stretching from bustling Manila Bay to the Sierra Madre mountain range on a clear day.

More than just a meal, Finestra’s brunch is a refined affair featuring an elegant mix of tableside service, live cooking stations, and free-flowing Italian wines and cocktails. Diners can start with antipasti from the counter before choosing from a selection of egg dishes, including eggs benedict with Parma ham and Italian-style frittatas with seasonal vegetables.

A highlight of the experience is the option to have seafood towers delivered tableside. These include freshly shucked oysters, poached lobster, king prawns, blue swimmer crab, and a variety of mussels, scallops, and clams, served with mignonette, lemon, and whipped horseradish.

For pasta lovers, the menu includes dishes such as baked rigatoni with USDA beef ragout, fusilli with confit yellowfin tuna and capers, and saffron risoni with Italian sausage. But the real centerpiece is the selection of premium beef, reflecting Finestra’s reputation as a top Italian steakhouse. Guests can indulge in a perfectly cooked USDA prime rib eye, served with classic sides such as creamy spinach and hand-cut chips.

Adding to the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere is live music, featuring chill brunch house beats that complement the setting. As diners sip on a classic Bellini or a glass of Chianti, the view through floor-to-ceiling windows provides a rare perspective of the city, making Finestra’s Sunday brunch an experience unlike any other in Manila.

A welcome addition to the north side of the metro, Finestra brings a much-needed high-end dining venue to an area that has long been overshadowed by the restaurant scene in Makati and BGC. With its snazzy, high-top setting, it’s where northern foodies can finally enjoy an upscale, leisurely brunch without crossing the city.

Brunch is available every Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for P4,999++, with options to upgrade to free-flowing Prosecco, Cava, or Champagne.
