MANILA, Philippines — Aboitiz earned two top honors at the 2026 Philippines Real Estate Awards, with Aboitiz Economic Estates named Best Industrial Developer and Ajoya Cabanatuan recognized as Best Masterplanned Development.

The awards recognize Aboitiz’s approach to developing economic estates and residential communities designed to support long-term economic and community growth.

Aboitiz Economic Estates, which has a 2,000-hectare portfolio across Southern Luzon and Central Visayas, has supported around 260 industrial locators and generated approximately 100,000 jobs.

Its portfolio includes the 1,100-hectare LIMA Estate in Batangas, the 63-hectare Mactan Economic Zone 2 Estate and 540-hectare West Cebu Estate in Cebu, and the 384-hectare TARI Estate in Tarlac.

“Our strength has long been industrial development, grounded in a simple belief: start with investment, infrastructure and jobs, and more complete communities can follow,” said Farrah Nina Mayol, senior assistant vice president for corporate communications and branding at Aboitiz Economic Estates.

Meanwhile, Aboitiz Land’s Ajoya Cabanatuan is a 19-hectare masterplanned residential community that integrates homes, open spaces, greenbelts, pocket parks and amenities. Walkways connect key areas, including the Town Plaza, to encourage accessibility and walkability within the community.

The homes, designed in collaboration with Buensalido+Architects, draw from Filipino architectural traditions, incorporating elements of the Bahay na Bato into contemporary residential designs.

The two awards highlight Aboitiz’s efforts across its real estate portfolio, from industrial developments that support businesses and employment to residential communities designed around the needs of families and residents.
