AboitizPower core earnings soared to P18B

MANILA, Philippines — Aboitiz Power Corp. posted a strong 41-percent core profit growth in the first six months of 2026 on higher energy prices and boosted capacity from its hydro and solar segments. On Wednesday, the group said its core net income had jumped to P18 billion from P12.8 billion in the same period last year.
