Acer recently wrapped up its first-ever Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025, a two-day gathering of education and tech leaders across the region, held in Bangkok. The summit carried the theme: “Shaping Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education.”

Bringing together delegates from the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, India, South Korea, Singapore, and more, the event explored how digitalization with the help of AI is reshaping the way we teach, learn, and prepare students for a technology-driven future.

The summit served as a collaborative platform for educators, policymakers, and tech leaders, offering practical insights into how schools can better integrate technology into both teaching and administration.

Acer showcased its growing AI-powered ecosystem, including digital learning solutions and EdTech tools aimed at boosting classroom engagement, easing administrative tasks, and building digital literacy among students.

Key partners like Intel, Windows, and Google joined the summit with interactive booths. Acer subsidiaries Aopen, SpatialLabs, and Predator Gaming demonstrated how esports and immersive tech can support learning outcomes. Meanwhile, Altos took the spotlight for its advancements in AI infrastructure.

Altos, Acer’s AI and server tech arm, revealed two platforms designed for the next wave of education and research:

  • Altos BrainSphere R680 F7
A high-performance server supporting up to eight NVIDIA RTX 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, perfect for AI-driven and graphics-intensive workloads.

  • Altos BrainSphere R880 F7
Built for LLM training and Generative AI, this HGX-based platform leverages the new NVIDIA B200 Blackwell Ultra GPU. With advanced energy efficiency and computing power, it’s geared for institutions focused on deep AI and data research.

These platforms highlight how Acer is helping academic and research institutions handle large-scale AI demands, from student learning to enterprise-level development.
