Coach Tai Bundit won’t be joining Alas Pilipinas women in the AVC Cup next month after getting into an accident in his home country of Thailand, as per PNVF president Tony Boy Liao.–MARLO CUETO/INQUIRER.net
MANILA, Philippines — Alas Pilipinas women’s coach Tai Bundit will miss the AVC Women’s Cup in Candon City, Ilocos Sur from June 6 to 14 after getting into an accident in his home country in Bangkok, Thailand.
Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) president Tonyboy Liao bared that Bundit will be out for two to three months after his surgery due to an open fracture n his foot.
Bundit’s coaching staff, Shaq Delos Santos, Sherwin Meneses, JP Yude, Benson Bocboc, Krung Arbasto, Geuel Asia, and others will discuss who will call the shots for the AVC tournament.
Liao said Bundit will return in the SEA V.League in July and August.
