MANILA, Philippines — Alden Richards and Julia Barretto will team up for the first time for the Philippine adaptation of Thai horror comedy romance blockbuster "Pee Mak," originally starring Mario Maurer. 

"Pee Mak" is the highest-grossing Thai movie of all time. 

According to PEP.ph, the Philippine adaptation will be made possible through Viva Films and Myriad Entertainment, a multimedia company owned by Alden. 

Myriad Entertainment's first film "OOO (Out of Order)" will stream on Netflix soon. It stars Alden and Heaven Peralejo.

The contract signing between Vic del Rosario of Viva Group of Companies and  Alden of Myriad Entertainment happened last night.
