Alex Gonzaga wrote a heartfelt message for her husband Mikee Morada after suffering her third miscarriage.
In a vlog on her YouTube channel, the actress shared moments from her 37th birthday celebration. Alex celebrated with a family dinner, and visited hospitals and clinics in Lipa, Batangas, to give out goods to mothers who had just given birth.
Toward the end of the video, Alex revealed that on January 9, a week before her birthday, she and Mikee were at the hospital.
The actress could be seen on a hospital bed, being visited by her loved ones.
At the very end, a letter written by Alex flashed on screen.
“Dearest Mikee, I’m so sorry again for our loss,” she wrote.
“The little miracle we had will always stay with us,” she added. “Let’s keep believing. By God’s grace, we will have the family we have always prayed for.”
Earlier in an Instagram Reel, Alex shared a video of Mikee dancing for her at the hospital.
“My favorite moment is when my husband made sure I was happy before my medical procedure,” she wrote in the video.
Mikee revealed on Tuesday that Alex suffered her third miscarriage.
The married couple did regular checkups with an OB/GYN soon after they found out they were pregnant, but on their third visit, they found complications in the pregnancy.
Alex and Mikee then opted for a second opinion with a different OB/GYN. Findings showed that their baby's heartbeat was lower than the average heartbeat range. By late December, the baby no longer had a heartbeat.
This miscarriage follows the first one in 2021 and the second in 2023.
