Hustle and Groove owner Flavius Dulce told the Inquirer that Solomon will start training with Alas Pilipinas starting on Monday for the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Women’s Cup in Candon City from June 6 to 14.

The 6-foot-1 opposite spiker, who played the previous Japan SV.League season with Osaka Marvelous, will join the lineup composed of veterans Alyssa Valdez, Ces Molina, and Jovelyn Gonzaga under interim coach Shaq Delos Santos.

Dulce added that Solomon will continue to explore her international options in Italy, USA, Turkey, Japan, and Peru, while playing for the national team.

The three-time UAAP champion out of National University attended the first day of the Draft Combine and went through anthropometric measurements and a series of performance assessments.

But she made it clear that she’s still undecided despite joining the combine, where she enjoyed working out and catching up with her batchmates.

PVL control committee chairman Sherwin Malonzo said that if a rookie withdraws, she has to undergo the same process again when she decides to enter the draft anew.

Solomon’s departure left Galeries Tower, which owns the rights to the top overall pick, to rethink its options for the draft, although its coach Aying Esteban had said the team is prepared for such circumstances.
