CELEBRATING Filipino identity goes beyond looking back at history; it's about honoring the values, creativity, and resilience that continue to shape the nation today.
As the Philippines commemorated the 127th anniversary of its independence, the City of Firsts proudly celebrated "Para kay Juan" (For Juan), a tribute to the pride, spirit and creativity of the Filipino people.
The celebration kicked off on June 11 with the "POP QC: Produkto ni Juan" (Juan's products) bazaar at Farmers Plaza.
In partnership with the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Development Office, the fair brought together local small businesses and entrepreneurs in one location to highlight their wonderful and unique products.
At Gateway Mall 1, the Manila Bulletin Hatch Exhibit would run from June 12 to 20.

The exhibit would feature "Hatch 2025: Emergence," a groundbreaking fusion of Filipino street art.
At Ali Mall, Jollibee, its friends, and the staff of the renowned fast-food chain conducted its JolliTown Mascot Parade on June 12.
Lastly, Araneta City's major highlight for Independence Day was the "Kultural na Palabas" (cultural show), a showcase of Filipino talents at the Quantum Skyview of Gateway Mall 2 on June 12.
