ASF outbreak prompts DA to temporarily stop Taiwan pork, pig imports

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Agriculture (DA) has temporarily banned the importation of live pigs and pig products from Taiwan due to an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF). According to the DA, the temporary ban took effect immediately and will remain in force until officially revoked to safeguard the country’s hog industry from
