Asistio faces Ombudsman rap over P79-M alleged ‘ghost’ flood projects

MANILA, Philippines — Caloocan Third District Rep. Dean Asistio was the subject of a complaint filed  before the Office of the Ombudsman over an alleged “ghost” and anomalous flood control projects worth P79.2 million.  Former Caloocan Mayor Rey Malonzo filed Thursday the complaint against Asistio for graft, malversation and falsification of public documents.
