ANTI-NARCOTICS agents scored big in an operation in Cavite on Friday, March 21.

According to PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez, about P217,642,000 worth of shabu were confiscated from a 35-year-old Chinese identified only as alias "Li" after he was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite around 6:14 a.m. when a joint operation was conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Special Enforcement Service (SES), PDEA Regional Office 4A, Cavite Provincial Office, PNP Maritime Police Station, and Bacoor City Police Station.

Li was arrested after he sold to an undercover agent a transparent self-sealing plastic bag containing one kilo of shabu worth P6,800,000 at a parking lot of a popular fast food chain restaurant in Bacoor Boulevard, Bacoor City, Cavite.

Confiscated from the suspect were 31 more plastic bags containing approximately 31 kilos of shabu worth P210,800,000, and four plastic sachets containing 35 pieces of red-colored ecstasy tablets worth P42,000 for a total of P217,642,000.

The authorities also took the suspect's Honda City and other personal belongings.
