Authorities find girl who sought Marcos’ help vs village councilor

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities have located the 11-year-old girl from Camarines Sur who wrote to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. seeking help against an abusive village official, Social Welfare Secretary Rex Gatchalian said Wednesday. Gatchalian said he met with the girl and the head of the Redeemer Homeless Mission, the nonprofit currently caring for her and other
