MANILA, Philippines — Belarusian and former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka and Japanese Naomi Osaka were two big names hardly finding trouble in making the second round of the Italian Open at the Foro Italico in Rome.
Azarenka defeated Colombian Camila Osorio 6-2, 6-3 while Osaka posted the same victory over Italian wild card Sara Errani.
Azarenka, ranked No 54, will face No 26 seed Magdalena Frech next while Osaka will play No. 9 seed Paula Badosa in the next round
