MANILA, Philippines—After falling in the opener, Quentin Millora-Brown’s Chiba Jets responded with back-to-back victories to advance to the semifinals of the 2026 Japan B.League

AJ Edu’s Gunma Crane Thunders had the early edge after winning Game 1 but the Jets clinched the series with a 72-68 win on Monday at LaLa arena, TOKYO-BAY.

Millora-Brown and Edu were both held scoreless in Games 2 and 3.

Nassir Little powered Chiba, which followed up its 85-79 win, with 20 points, four rebounds and four assists. Ren Kanechika and Yuta Watanabe also finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Trey McKinney-Jones had 18 in the Crane Thunders’ defeat. Kerry Blackshear Jr., meanwhile, had a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Following the elimination of Edu and the Crane Thunders, Millora-Brown is the only remaining Filipino in the B.League title race.

Millora-Brown could see more action in Chiba’s next assignment,  another best-of-three series against the Nagasaki Velca in the semifinals starting Friday. <
