Barbie Forteza is truly enjoying her runner era!
On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a carousel of photos from her first ever fun run event organized by the I Want To Share Foundation, an organization that helps children with cancer.
Among those she shared was a photo of her from her Strava App while holding the finisher's medal. She also posed for a snap with Sparkle star Alden Richards and fellow celebrities Julia Barretto, Paulo Avelino, and Kim Chiu.
"So happy about today's fun run as the proceeds of this event will go to the benefit of our children with cancer. It made me realize that running isn't just a hobby now but a new found purpose. I'll be participating on more charity fun runs for sure," Barbie wrote.
Barbie is among those stars who have started running more this year. She previously went on a morning run with Alden and Kristoffer Martin.
According to Barbie, running gives a sense of escape and makes your forget your problems.
Barbie recently starred as Adelina dela Cruz in "Pulang Araw."
She also has exciting upcoming projects, including "Kontrabida Academy" with Eugene Domingo, "P77" with Euwenn Mikaell and Gina Pareño, and a project with Direk Mark Reyes.
