Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos orders fuel, energy cuts amid Mideast crisis

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto has ordered measures to reduce fuel and electricity consumption across provincial government offices amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. In her Executive Order No. 07, issued on Wednesday, Santos-Recto directed provincial offices to cut fuel use by 30 to 50 percent “during the existence of the
