MANILA, Philippines — Queen B is back to slay.

Award-winning singer Beyonce takes over the Met Gala after a decade, making the most of her time at the annual high fashion gathering apart from being its co-chair alongside big names Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour.

For her eighth appearance at the event, Beyonce wore an embellished diamond skeleton over a skin-tone mesh dress designed by Olivier Rousteing, the former creative director of Balmain.

A long blue-and-white feather coat that extended into a train that needed five people to carry behind her was complemented by a crystal-embellished headpiece covering long blonde curls running down her back.

The outfit was very much in line with this year's "Costume Art" theme to highlight the human form's relationship with fashion as wearable art form, where guests were asked to wear outfits that depict the body as a canvas.

Making her return to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York's steps more special was attending with her husband Jay-Z and their 14-year-old daughter Ivy Blue, the latter making her event debut.

Coincidentally, Beyonce's first time at the Met Gala was in 2008 just a month after marrying Jay-Z. The rapper wore a double-breasted suit from Louis Vuitton.

Blue Ivy, now one of the youngest Met Gala attendees ever, wore a white Balenciaga gown — underneath a white jacket — with a billowing skirt and train, sparkling heels, sunglasses, and a tennis necklace.

Apart from Jay-Z and Beyonce, another fellow power couple, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, were among the final arrivals of the red carpet.

Rihanna was styled by Jahleel Weaver to wear a hand-sculpted Maison Margiela by Glenn Martens made in duchess woven silk out of recycled metal threads.

The dress' corseted bodice has more than 115,000 crystal beads, antique jewels, and chains, which took 1,380 hours to embroider. An Art Deco-style headpiece completed the singer's metallic look.

A$AP Rocky, meanwhile, wore a custom pink Chanel robe with black satin lapels and piping details by Matthieu Blazy, complemented by black silk, feather camélia, black trousers, and High Jewelry pieces from the fashion house.

At last year's Met Gala, where the rapper was a co-chair, the celebrity couple revealed that they were expecting their third child. Rihanna gave birth last September to their first baby girl named Rocki Irish, joining sons RZA Athelston and Riot Rose.
