MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Landmasters, through CLI Foundation, extended at least P11.6 million in cash and in-kind support to communities affected by the September 2025 earthquake in Northern Cebu and Typhoon Tino in November.
The assistance reached an estimated 46,828 individuals from over 11,000 families, providing immediate relief while supporting recovery and rehabilitation efforts in the months that followed.
Engineering teams also conducted safety inspections of key facilities and committed to support parish repairs. In San Remigio, CLI furnished four modular shelters and provided water to 67 families.
After Typhoon Tino, the company deployed dump trucks, backhoes and crews to clear debris across 3,500 meters of roads in Danao City, Liloan and Cebu City, and supported river restoration in Minglanilla. Drinking water was also delivered to 9,314 families.
Looking ahead, CLI is supporting bamboo planting along the Cotcot-Lusaran riverways to strengthen riverbanks and reduce flood risks.
“Our responsibility does not end with relief,” CLI chairman and CEO Jose Soberano III said. “We are committed to helping communities rebuild in a safer and more resilient way.”
Beyond disaster response, CLI continues to invest in education, livelihood, and long-term community development.
