IMMIGRATION operatives arrested over the weekend three Koreans for working without permits and visas in violation of the Philippine immigration laws.
BI intelligence division chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. disclosed on Sunday that the three were arrested in a private resort inside a subdivision in General Trias, Cavite.
They were arrested in coordination with the Philippine Navy and the Philippine National Police after the BI received intelligence information about the presence of illegal aliens in the said area.
Manahan identified the three as Oh Hyunsik, 51; Kim Haeyoung, 48; and Kim Seoyeong, 45.
BI records confirmed that they have indeed been working without the proper permits and visas.

Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado lauded the arrest, saying that foreigners are expected to follow laws while in the country.
"We thank our counterparts for their assistance in this operation," said Viado.
Viado revealed that their close coordination with their partners in law enforcement plays a vital role in the swift and effective apprehension of illegal aliens.
"Collaborative efforts such as this demonstrate our shared commitment to upholding the law and maintaining national security," he added.
The three Koreans will remain at the BI's facility inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig, pending deportation proceedings.
