MANILA, Philippines — Over 15.6 million foreign passenger arrivals were recorded by the Bureau of Immigration last year.
In a statement yesterday, the BI said international ports of entry registered 15,608,868 arrivals, including foreign nationals, in 2025.
The figure is six percent higher than the 14,733,597 passenger arrivals posted in 2024, Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said.
South Koreans accounted for the biggest number of international arrivals with 1,453,239, followed by Americans with 1,413,192, Japanese with 523,493, Chinese with 458,809 and Australians with 379,720.
