BI repatriates 9 Filipino trafficking victims from Malaysia

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednesday announced that several Filipino victims of human trafficking, lured by fraudulent overseas job offers, have been successfully repatriated. According to the BI in a statement, the nine returnees, mostly women aged 23 to 32, arrived back in the country on Jan. 17 aboard MV Antonia
