Bicol solons push disaster-ready evacuation hubs after Mindanao quake

IRIGA CITY — Bicol lawmakers urged the government on Sunday to fast-track the construction of permanent, disaster-resilient evacuation centers after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao displaced more than 75,000 families. Reps. Miguel Luis “Migz” Villafuerte (5th District) and Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte (2nd District) called for full implementation of Republic Act No. 12076, or
