Binaliw landfill tragedy: Cebu archbishop consoles families of victims

CEBU CITY — Amid continuing grief over the Binaliw landfill tragedy, Archbishop Alberto Uy on Thursday visited the families of the victims, offering prayers and consolation. As of 2 p.m. on January 15, authorities reported that the death toll had reached 23, with 18 people injured and 13 others still missing following the deadly incident.
