The Binibining Pilipinas 2026 delegates visited the kids of SOS Children's Village in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

MANILA, Philippines — Aside from their respective individual advocacies, the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 delegates joined the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.’s outreach to the SOS Children’s Village in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
“Our hearts are completely full after spending a day with the wonderful kids at SOS Childfdn’s Village Pilipinas. There was nothing more rewarding than seeing their bright smiles and feeling the genuine love in their community. Thank you for welcoming Binibining Pilipinas family with open arms. You inspired us more than words can say,” said the ladies in a collective statement.
Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 Myrna Esguerra was chosen by the SOS community to be their spokesperson and ambassador.
The Miss International Organization, through their account on social media wrote, “Crown, sash, and a heart for service! Huge congratulations for Myrna Esguerra on being named the Goodwill Ambassador for SOS Children’s Village Pilipinas. We are so proud of her commitment to making a difference in the lives of Fjlipino children.”
Headquartered in Austria, the SOS Children’s Village established its presence in the Philippines in 1967. To date, there are eight villages across the archipelago: Iloilo, Manila, Cebu, Butuan, Calbayog (Samar), Muntinlupa, Lipa City, and Tacloban – with Alabang the smallest community, and Davao the biggest!

“I partnered with the SOS Children’s Village for my SDG video when I competed for Miss International last year. The organization must have seen my passion and decided to make me their spokesperson.
“The SOS community is so close to my heart because the kids there also experienced what I went through before. Our circumstances were kind of similar, with me growing up with 12 other siblings in Abra! They have a staunch advocate in me. I love working with them and for them,” Esguerra said.
SOS Children’s Village Pilipinas communities live by their mantra, “Give hope a chance!”
