Bishop says Duterte ICC case must be ‘a moment of moral reckoning’

MANILA, Philippines — As former President Rodrigo Duterte is set to appear before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the confirmation of charges against him over his administration’s bloody war on drugs, Bishop Gerardo “Gerry” Alminaza of the Diocese of San Carlos in Negros Occidental said on Sunday that the case should not be regarded
