Black Nazarene thanksgiving procession set for Dec. 30

MANILA, Philippines — Devotees are encouraged to participate in the thanksgiving procession for the Black Nazarene in Manila on Tuesday night, Dec. 30, according to Quiapo Church technical adviser Alex Irasga. Irasga clarified, however, that the thanksgiving procession would not involve the traditional carrying of the Black Nazarene image nor the use of ropes to
