MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) will auction off eight of the luxury cars previously owned by contractor couple Curlee and Sarah Discaya, and two other luxury vehicles, this month at the Port of Manila.
In a Facebook post, the BOC said that a public auction will be held on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m., at the Situation Room, Ground Floor, Office of the Commissioner Building, BOC, Port Area, Manila.
The Discaya-owned black Rolls Royce Cullinan (2023) and the blue Bentley Bentayga (2022), which already underwent two failed biddings, will be among the 10 cars to be auctioned off.
The other seized Discaya cars, which were earlier found to reportedly have import entries but no certificate of payment, would also be disposed of. These are the Lincoln Navigator (2024), GMC Yukon Denali (2022), Cadillac Escalade (2021), Maserati Levante Modena (2022), GMC Yukon XL Denali (2022) and the Cadillac Escalade ESV (2022).
A blue Bugatti Chiron (2017) and a red Bugatti Chiron (2019) complete the list of 10 cars that would be put on the auction block.
The BOC announced that interested bidders may proceed to the BOC-Port of Manila grounds for public viewing of all 10 vehicles on Feb. 5 and 6. The bureau has yet to announce the floor price for each of the cars.
Last year, the bureau held two auctions for the Discaya cars and earned a total of P47,691,710. It sold five luxury vehicles, namely a black matte Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (2022), red Mercedes-Benz G500 (2019) Brabus, the black Lincoln Navigator (2021), Toyota Tundra (2022) and an orange Toyota Sequoia (2023).
The BOC earlier said it hoped to raise P103 million from selling the initial seven Discaya cars.
On Sept. 2, 2025, the BOC served the search warrant issued by Manila City Regional Trial Court Branch 18 Executive Judge Carolina Icasiano-Sison, at the Discaya’s St. Gerrard Construction compound in Pasig City, but only saw two of the 12 vehicles listed in the search warrant, in connection with the flood control corruption investigation.
The Discayas later turned over the other vehicles mentioned in the search warrant, and an additional 16 of their cars or a total of 28 cars to the BOC.
