OLONGAPO CITY — In a significant gesture of cooperation, the Bureau of Customs-Port of Subic, led by District Collector Marlon Fritz Broto, paid a courtesy call to Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. at the City Hall on Tuesday.
The meeting highlighted the Port of Subic's commitment to work together with the city government for economic growth, ef-ficiency, and good governance within Olongapo City.
Broto expressed support for the city's initiatives to enhance local trade and streamline public services. He also cited the Bureau of Customs' crucial role in promoting economic activities, particularly within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Paulino stressed the importance of cooperation between the local government and the Bureau of Customs in advancing the city's development agenda. He noted that investments and businesses within the Port of Subic and the Freeport Zone create meaningful job opportunities for the people of Olongapo and strengthen the city's economic foundation.
Broto also commended the mayor's leadership in fostering economic growth and implementing innovative programs for the city.
