MANILA, Philippines — Classes in a public high school in Amadeo, Cavite were disrupted on Friday due to a bomb threat allegedly perpetrated by one of the students.
The suspect, identified only as Rick, allegedly left a handwritten note threatening to kill his classmates and bomb the Amadeo National High School in Barangay Poblacion I.
A student who saw the letter turned over the note to the school principal, who immediately called the police.
Members of the police anti-bomb squad inspected the school premises, but did not find any explosive.
Police and school authorities said an investigation would be conducted to determine the suspect’s motive for making the threat.
