Business Profiles Inc., led by its managing director and principal security adviser Josef Gueta, was awarded Outstanding Security Team at the Southeast Asia Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) 2025, held on Nov. 12 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, as part of Safety and Security Asia 2025.
Business Profiles was the only Filipino organization to win an award this year, standing out among strong contenders from across Southeast Asia. With this regional win, the team now moves forward as a finalist at the Global OSPAs in January 2026 — a prestigious international stage.
The OSPAs honor individuals and organizations that exemplify leadership, professionalism, and innovation. The awards are judged independently based on research-backed criteria, making the recognition both rigorous and highly coveted.
Business Profiles Group earned the award for its professionalism, responsiveness, incident management capability, and strong performance across high-risk and diverse environments.

Winners at the OSPA Award
In addition to the win, Business Profiles’ Catherine Teanila was named a finalist for the Outstanding Female Security Professional Award, highlighting the company’s strength in developing leaders in the security field.
In his company statement, Josef Gueta said: “We are honored to be recognized on a regional stage. This award belongs to our security teams who show integrity, discipline, and dedication every day. We will continue our commitment to delivering world-class security operations and representing Filipino excellence.”

The winners of the 2025 Southeast Asia Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) were announced at a gala dinner at the ASIS Asia Pacific Conference, held under The Security Event Asia 2025 as part of Safety and Security Asia 2025 at Monti, 1-Pavilion, Singapore and hosted by Northland Controls.
Winners from all categories, apart from Lifetime Achievement, will automatically qualify for the Global OSPAs 2026, where they will represent Southeast Asia on the world stage. The recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, Leonard Ong, has been inducted into the Security Hall of Fame in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the industry.
The Southeast Asia OSPAs continue to highlight the exceptional talent, dedication, and professionalism that define the region’s security sector. The organizers extend their thanks to headline sponsor BluOcean Security, trophy sponsor Edith Cowan University, the judging panel, and all supporting organizations for their continued commitment to advancing security excellence across Southeast Asia.

The OSPAs recognize and reward companies and individuals across the security sector. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognized and their success to be celebrated.
The OSPAs have been set up in collaboration with security associations and groups across many countries, with new regions being added regularly.
By researching and standardizing the award categories and criteria, the OSPAs scheme provides an opportunity for countries to run their own evidence-based OSPAs schemes while maintaining the ability to compete on an international level in the future World OSPAs.
