Caitlyn Stave shared a health update after suffering an injury during this year’s Kaamulan Horse Show & Competition.

On Instagram, the Sparkle star said that the event was “full of firsts.”

On the first day, Caitlyn fell off a horse for the first time in her seven years of riding. On the second day, she fell off again and experienced breaking her bones for the first time.

“Fell off [and] broke my fall with my hand (which is exactly what you’re NOT supposed to do) & broke my pinky & ring finger on my right hand. I remember being in the ambulance crying because of the pain yet still begging for them to let me finish my race,” she said.

Caitlyn underwent surgery, and the doctor advised her to take a break from riding for two months.

“Buuuut I persuaded him to let me at least walk with my horses after 2 weeks,” she said.

Caitlyn thanked those who helped her, including her boyfriend, Rafael Jaworski, and his parents, Dodot Jaworski and renowned equestrienne Mikee Cojuangco.

She currently plays the role of Chelsea in “Mga Batang Riles,” which airs on weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan."
