TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — In line with the observance of World Malaria Day, the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO) led a provincewide celebration on April 28, 2025, at the Cavite Collaboration Center for Public Health at General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Medical Center.

The event gathered medical practitioners from various public and private hospitals, as well as rural health units (RHUs) across the province, to reinforce the importance of malaria prevention and control.

The program commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Nelson Soriano, Provincial Health Officer 1, who expressed his gratitude for the active participation of health care professionals in the fight against vector-borne diseases.
