Founded in a small kitchen in Valenzuela, CDO has grown into one of the Philippines’ largest homegrown food companies. Chairman Corazon Dayro Ong reflected on the company’s humble beginnings, saying, “My dream was simple: To create food that brings the warmth of home.”
President and CEO Jerome Ong emphasized the company’s growth through collaboration and its continuing journey of innovation and relevance. Vice President Jason Ong highlighted the broader mission of uplifting lives through advocacy and product innovation, while also honoring the work of CDO’s CSR arm, the Odyssey Foundation.
The company also honored employees through the Golden Spoon Awards and long-service recognitions. A tribute was paid to the late co-founder Jose Ong.
Performances by CDO brand endorsers Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli, Gary Valenciano, Vice Ganda, and BINI added star power to both days. The celebration affirmed CDO’s commitment to its people and purpose as it looks ahead to the next 50 years.
