RECENTLY, a devastating fire tore through Isla Puting Bato, Tondo, Manila, displacing 8,000 residents and reducing 1,000 homes to ashes. In the aftermath of this tragedy, Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Brokers Inc. (CLIB) swiftly responded through its Kumustahan Initiative, ensuring that ProtectMax COC holders received their fire insurance benefits.
By delivering financial assistance directly to affected families, CLIB offered relief and empowered them to begin rebuilding their homes and livelihoods. Each beneficiary not only received their respective cash benefits but was also provided with grocery packages, further easing their financial burden. The atmosphere during the event was filled with joy and gratitude as beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the assistance.

Through ProtectMax, which starts at just P50, CLIB offers affordable coverage, including life insurance, accidental death benefits, and fire cash assistance, ensuring COC holders have financial support when they need it most.
Several ProtectMax COC holders in Isla Puting Bato successfully claimed their insurance benefits, with some receiving up to P50,000. These payouts provided critical support for families looking to recover and rebuild after the disaster.
