The 2025 Philippine midterm elections saw a wave of celebrities running for national and local posts. While some are currently leading in the partial and unofficial results, others have struggled to translate their popularity into electoral success.
Winners so far
Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso made a major political comeback, reclaiming the mayoralty of Manila with more than 527,000 votes — far ahead of rivals Honey Lacuna and Sam Verzosa. Domagoso previously served as Manila mayor from 2019 to 2022.
Actor Arjo Atayde retained his seat as representative of Quezon City's first district.
