"This partnership played a vital role in turning the vision for the sub-station into reality. Such collaborations are essential for effectively addressing the complex maritime challenges facing the coastal waters of Cavite City, ensuring coordinated and efficient responses to a wide range of maritime issues," said Meniado.
Chua said the building will be the permanent home of the sea lanes guardians in the city.
"The coast guard helps our citizens a lot, especially our sailors. They are also our constant partners in various programs of our city government," the mayor said.
"Therefore, it is appropriate that they have a proper, decent and permanent home in our area. May this strengthen the good friendship between the City of Cavite and the Philippine Coast Guard," added Chua.
