MANILA, Philippines — About 100 malls nationwide are being eyed as voter registration centers for the 2028 elections, the Commission on Elections said yesterday.

Comelec Chairman George Garcia said the poll body intends to expand its partnership with malls to encourage more Filipinos to register and participate in the next general elections.

Garcia said the turnout of registrants exceeded expectations and showed the young people’s strong engagement.
